Sushila Chaudhari was born in the city of Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan State, India, on June 15, 1985. Sushila is the first daughter of Shri Devi lal and Maya devi. Her father is a farmer and mother is a housewife. She has one brother and one sister. She grew up in a small village.
Sushila started her undergraduate degree program at the Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana, Punjab, India in Agriculture in 2004. Throughout her degree she was awarded with a National Talent Scholarship from the Indian Government. All through her college years, she participated in many campus activities and gained a lot of honors in games, clay modeling and rangoli. She enjoys team work and was active in the National Social Service program organized by the University and received a consolation prize at the end for her contributions.
In Spring 2009, she has began her master's program at the University of Florida, in the Agronomy Department as well as the Range Cattle Research and Education Center. She is working under the supervision of Dr. Brent Sellers.
