RCREC Advisory Council Open House

On November 7th 2008 the Range Cattle Research and Education Center Advisory Council hosted an open house for Florida Legislative Representatives. Guests enjoyed lunch, speakers, and a short tour of the Center. Speakers included RCREC Center Director, Dr. John Arthington; UF/IFAS, Senior Vice President, Dr. Jimmy Cheek; Rancher, Wes Williamson; and FCA President, Jim Handley. Speakers shared their throughts regarding the Center's dedication to the economic productivity and environmental sustainability of Florida's range and grazing lands through past and present research initiatives.
