Kamii'ya Cargle
Kamii’ya is originally from Dayton, Ohio and currently living in Decatur, GA. She attends Florida A&M University with a major in Animal Science/Pre-Vet. During her first year at FAMU, she had the opportunity to participate in an Animal Science Internship at Quincy Farms. She participated in many things such as observations, bio security measures, vaccination procedures, and more. All of this while being involved with many animals such as horses, goats, cows, etc. After she graduates, she plans to go to graduate school to obtain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited Veterinarian program.
On June 4, 2021 Kamii'ya began her 3-month internship at the Center to learn about cattle, forages, agronomy, and soil science research and extension.
