Pedro Augusto Ribeiro Salvo
Pedro Augusto Ribeiro Salvo was born in Porangatu, Goias, Brazil, on 8th April of 1987. He is the youngest son of Antonio Salvo Junior and Fatima Aurora Ribeiro Salvo, and brother of Leonardo Elias Ribeiro Salvo.
In 2006 began his undergraduate program in Animal Science at the Goias State University at Sao Luis de Montes Belos, Goias, Brazil. Later, in 2008, he transferred his program to the current school, Sao Paulo State University, campus Jaboticabal - SP. As an undergraduate student, he was an intern of the Animal Science department from March 2008 to July 2011. During his internship, he developed part of a research project with his advisor Dr. Ricardo Andrade Reis and co-advisor Fernanda Carvalho Basso, with forage conservation, using microbial inoculants (l. buchneri and L. plantarum) on corn silage. The research had the financial support of FAPESP. Pedro also participated in the education tutorial program (PET-ZOO), from August 2009 to July 2011.
In July 2011, Pedro arrived at the Range Cattle REC - Ona, FL, as intern, to conduct his degree requirement internship, under advising of Dr. Joao Vendramini.
